Ministry of Minority Affairs (MOMA), Govt of India invites online application form for NSP Scholarship 2025-26, Pre Matric Scholarship , Post Matric Scholarships, Merit Cum Means (MCM) Scholarship and Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship Scheme for Minorities Academic Year 2025 26 through National Scholarship Portal for fresh & Renewal Login.
All eligible and interested male and female aspirants can apply online at NSP Scholarship official portal at scholarships.gov.in from May 2025 to till the application last date June 2025 (Expected) for National Scholarship Schemes 2025 26.

Eligibility Criteria for NSP Scholarship 2025-26
NSP Pre Matric Scholarship 2025
- Eligibility - Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents / guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 1.00 lakh.
- Scope - The Scholarship will be awarded for Studies in india in government or private school from class I to class X.
- Scholarship will be available to the students of minority community studying in class I to X
NSP Post Matric Scholarship 2025
- Eligibility - Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents / guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh.
- Scope - The Scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in government or private higher secondary school/ college / university. It will also cover technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Centers affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) of classes XI and XII level including Polytechnics and other courses.
- Scholarship will be available to the students studing in classes XI and XII including technical and vocational courses of this level including Polytechnics, ITI and other courses.
NSP MCM Scholarship 2025
- Eligibility - Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and annual income of their parents / guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2.50 lakh.
- Scope - The Scholarship is to be awarded for studies in India in a government or private Institutions, selected and notified in a transparent manner by the State Governments/Union Territory Administrations concerned. It will cover technical and professional courses at undergraduate and post graduate level. A list of courses at Appendix-E.
- Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical / professional courses on the basis of competitive examination will be eligible for the scholarship.
List of Documents Required for National Scholarship (NSP) 2025-26
The following documents are required to be uploaded for fresh applications under the Merit cum Means based Scholarship. if the amount of scholarship is more than Rs 50,000/- per annum. uploading of documents is not necessary for applying under Pre-Matric and Post-Matric Scholarship 2025.
The documents required for each NSP scholarship may vary. However, some of the key documents that you must keep intact to make a successful application include –
Educational documents
Aadhaar card
Bank passbook
Domicile certificate (if applicable)
Caste certificate (if applicable)
Income certificate (if applicable)
Bonafide certificate from school/institution (as applicable)
These documents are only required to be uploaded for scholarship amounts greater than INR 50,000. However, for scholarship amounts less than INR 50,000, the students are required to submit these documents to their respective school/institute/college.

How to Apply For NSP Scholarship 2025
Step 1: Visit the official website of NSP (National Scholarship Portal).
Step 2: Before registering, make sure your institution is registered on the portal by clicking on the ‘Search for Institute’ button.
Step 3: In case your institution is not registered, please ask your institution to register on the portal first.
Step 4: Click on the ‘New Registration’ button.
Step 5: Read all the registration guidelines carefully and click on ‘Continue’ to proceed.
Step 6: Fill in all the mandatory fields which are marked with an asterisk ‘*’, and click on the ‘Register’ button.
Step 7: Upon successful registration, an application ID and password will be delivered to your registered mobile number.
Step 8: Make a login using the application ID and password received.
Step 9: You will be required to verify the OTP sent on your registered mobile number, after which you have to change your password at your convenience.
Step 10: After changing the password, a user dashboard will open. Click on ‘Application Form’ to start filling the application.
Step 11: Fill in all the details in the application form and upload all the required documents as specified.
Step 12: Finally, submit the application by clicking on the ‘Final Submit’ button. Important: Any detail entered in the scholarship form cannot be edited after the final submission. Thus, you must make sure that you enter the correct information in the application form. Any discrepancy in information may lead to application rejection.
